Properties and Uses：

 It has excellent moisture resistance, good light transmission and chemical stability. Widely used in insulation, heat and moisture proof fillers, high efficiency defoamers, mold release agents, lubricants and surface treatment agents. It is prepared by reacting octamethylcyclotetrasiloxane and hexamethyldisiloxane under the action of concentrated sulfuric acid or tetramethylammonium hydroxide catalyst.
